Fun things this week

• I met up with a childhood friend for the first time in years! It was nice catching up a little and also a bit of a shock meeting someone who I last saw when I was 10 with a fiance and a house in the works

• Saw a beautiful aurora! It doesn’t happen to often here, but this is the second I’ve seen in the last 5 years in the city.

• Therapy has still been going well. It feels like a very good core foundation is being established in me that I’ve never had the chance to learn growing up. Really happy with the progress I’ve made and terribly excited for some more

Music I’ve been listening to

• Cheating a bit here since it’s been a while of me listening, but I want to give a shoutout to this cover album of Hotel Dusk / Last Window I found on youtube! Great cover of my favourite DS games, and have been on my rotation for any kind of work for the last few months.

• Bonehunters complete woot woot. I’ll leave more organized thoughts for my reflection, but it has left a very powerful impression on me. Cannot stop thinking about chapter 23 and how cool Fiddler is. Watched the DLC Book Club interview with the author after finishing which only improved the book for me, there was a lot of subtext that I missed in my reading.

• Started Catch-22, not sure how I feel about it yet but it’s alright so far

• Rewatching True Detective Season 1. Been on my mind a lot recently and decided to jsut go for it. Matthew McConaughey is still insanely hot here, show is still goddamn gorgeous.

• Started playing Etrian Oddyssey 2 Untold! I missed the Etrian Odyssey loop and music a lot.
